Developed by a team of three, ArtHaiku in Vancouver aims to get people outside exploring their own backyard, while stretching their creative muscle.
By using public data from the City Of Vancouver, our team was able to pinpoint local works of art all around the city and place them on a map.
We wanted to challenge ourselves and the public to think about each individual piece. So, to do this we decided to mix in another form of art, the haiku! If inspiration strikes, it’s a place to record whatever comes to mind. (No data is collected anywhere throughout the app). Be yourself and have fun!
We learned a lot about the city while making this app and hope you do too.
Thanks, Vancouver!
